FAQs
How long do invitations take to make?
Once your design is finalized invitations will take 2-3 months to be completed. Give yourself as much time as possible and reach out to your stationer ASAP! Even up to a year is okay!
Are the clients involved in the making process?
Yes! This should be a fun part of the wedding planning. I communicate with my clients throughout the process so they can tell me what they are or aren’t vibing with.
How many proofs do I get?
I give one initial proof with 4 additional touch ups. After that each additional proof will be $100 each.
How far in advance should you start the custom invitations process?
The sooner the better! For a custom invitation sweet I would suggest at least 4 months (or more even a year is great if that is an option for you!) in advance to make sure you have ample time throughout the design process and to make sure all required materials can arrive.
How much are invitation suites?
The prices will vary depending on the design, the service, and the quantity. Letterpress/foiling will be more expensive than print. My clients usually spend anywhere from $2000-$6000+.
How does payment work?
I start with an initial design fee. Once design is complete half payment upfront, and second half upon completion. I accept Zelle, or online invoice.
Print vs. Letterpress
Letterpress is when the words are indented into the paper. This process takes quite a bit more time than print, but both will give a different effect based on what you are looking for.
What is usually included in an invitation suite?
A suite usually includes a minimum of the main envelope with printed addresses, invitation, RSVP card and return envelope, details card, wax seal, ribbon and/or vellum and any additional details desired.
Do you do custom monograms and illustrations?
Yes :) Depending on what artistic style you are looking for. Inquire if unsure!
Assembled vs. Unassembled
An assembled suite will have a higher cost, but will be ready to be sent in the mail to have a completely hands free experience! If you do unassembled you will get all of your pieces and assemble/postage them yourselves for a lower cost.
